The great war: Xbox or PS3?

For years now, there has been a war between gamers. The war between which console is better: PS3 or Xbox. I am not choosing a side, but I will list some of the pros and cons about each console and let you choose what console wins.

Xbox
Microsoft

~Pros:

  • More games in the game library
  • More online users (Xbox Live)
  • Cheaper than the PS3
~Cons:

  • Known for the "Red Ring of Death"
  • The controllers take batteries
  • You have to pay to play online
  • Overheating
  • No Blu-Ray
  • The console is loud (Excluding the new model ~2010)
  • Big and Bulky power brick



PS3
Sony

~Pros:

  • The power supply, no brick
  • Blu-Ray built in
  • Playstation is still the leader in gaming
  • PSX and PS2 disk support
  • Great 3rd party support
  • The controller
  • Free online play
  • Web browsing
~Cons

  • The price
  • The size of the console may be to large (excluding the 2010 model)
  • Game prices
  • PSN troubles

Controllers do rumble. You will notice this when playing multiple missions in Black Ops on the PlayStation 3. The game prices are relevantly equal to the Xbox, but what you get is better in the PlayStation. Better graphics, better design, free-to-play PlayStation Network, and one last one, the PS3 has more pros.
